Welcome
ABOUT
Trumpington Parochial Charity comprises seven historic charities which were combined into a single charity in 1997. The charity is managed currently by eight volunteer trustees who all live in, or local to, Trumpington. The trustees aim to distribute all of the available income from the charity’s investments twice a year.
More information, including the list of trustees and financial history, can be found on the Charity Commission website.
APPLY FOR A GRANT
The Charity has limited annual income and the trustees find it beneficial to support community groups who work with individuals of all ages and families, rather than giving directly to individuals. The trustees also consider applications from the schools and healthcare providers in Trumpington.
The trustees meet twice a year and applications for grants should be received by the second Monday in May and November using the application form, sent by email to info@trumpington-parochial-charity.org

Trumpington is a historic settlement and was once a small agricultural village south-west of Cambridge – now it has extended in all directions and is a significant part of the city. After the Second World War much-needed housing was built to the east of the High Street. In recent years Trumpington has spread in the east towards the Biomedical Campus and Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and south and west towards the M11. There are now over 6,000 homes in the Parish of Trumpington with a multicultural community.
